5 Frame

5 Frame hive kits.   Most beekeepers don't keep their bees in 5 frame hives year-round, though a few do.  It is possible to overwinter bees in a 5 frame hive, but it can be more challenging.   5 Frame hives are a great platform for splits, raising queens and producing nucs.
