Shipping

Shipping Methods: We offer the customer their choice of services offered by UPS (Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, 3 Day Select, and Ground), and USPS (Priority and Express Mail).  Shipping costs and estimated time of delivery are provided by each carrier on checkout and are based on the weight, size and delivery address.  Signatures are required for shipments over a set value.

Custom Fees, Duty and Taxes:  Customers shipping internationally are responsible for any and all custom fees, duty or other taxes.  Generally these are collected by the carrier before the order will be delivered. These fees vary by carrier and location and are beyond our control. Please contact UPS or your postal service locally for more information as to the charge as these fees can sometimes be significant for small orders.  (UPS for example has a much higher brokerage fee than the postal service when shipping to Canada). 

Sales Tax:  Sales tax exemption certificates may be emailed or faxed to 614-633-1036.  Please make a note 'tax exempt' when placing your first order.  We will wait until your certificate has been received before finalizing and shipping your order.

Shipping Destinations:  We ship to any addresses in the United States, Canada (including APOs, FPOs and PO Boxes) as well as over 150 other countries.  Please note that some goods such as honey cannot be shipped to many countries due to import limitations.  Live bees and queens may only be shipped to the continental united states.

Delivery Times:  Your delivery date is determined by the date of shipment and the shipping service you select when placing your order.  Estimated times in transit or delivery dates shown on checkout are those provided by the carrier and cannot be guaranteed by Honey Run Apiaries and may vary due to shipping dates, holidays, weather and other issues affecting the carrier.

Orders of in-stock parts shipped by USPS will normally ship the same day if received before 10AM EST, and  orders shipped by UPS will normally ship the same day if received before 3PM EST  Monday though Friday, not including holidays.  Special orders and backordered items will require additional time prior to shipment.

Order Cancellations and Changes:  We will make every effort to stop or revise an order when we receive a request for cancellation.  However, once an order has shipped it must be returned subject to our return policy and any additions to your order may be shipped separately and thus would incur a separate shipping charge.
