While this is the cheaper of the two 'between frame' small hive beetle traps we carry, we find it harder to clean out and easier to damage compared to the Beetle Jail. Small hive beetles also love hiding under the edges of this trap so be sure to scrape your top bars before installing it, and run the hive tool over it during inspectiongs to smash any hiding small hive beetles.
