Returns

For ALL Returns:  You must call or email us for a return authorization number before returning any item.  Items returned without a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number  will not be accepted, credited or replaced.  Unauthorized returns will not be shipped back to sender except at their expense (a handling fee may also apply).

Received Incorrect Item:  If you have received a part other than that you have ordered notify us immediately and we  will immediately ship the correct item and send a return label for the incorrect item at our cost.  If the incorrect part is not returned you will be charged for both parts. 

Damaged Items: 

For Domestic orders:  If you notice the damage when it is delivered, please refuse the shipment and inform the carrier that you are refusing delivery because of the damage.  Then call or email Honey Run Apiaries inform us of the problem.  If it is not possible to inspect the order at time of delivery please call as soon as the damage is discovered and keep the box and all packaging material.  Insurance claims may require the carrier come out and inspect the package at your location.  Where insurance claims do not apply, we wil immediately ship a replacement after we receive the damaged item back.  All damaged shipments must be reported to us within 5 days of receipt or replacement and/or credit wil not be given.

For International Orders:  We will assist you in the process of filing your claim with the carrier as much as we can.  We will also assist with the order of replacement parts to ensure they get ordered and shipped promptly.

Warranty Replacement:  Honey Run Apiaries does not warrant the parts we sell that are manufactured by other companies.  We will however, work between you and the manufacturer to cover the defective part under the manufacturers warranty.  Both the original shipping charges and return charges are the responsibility of the buyer.  The buyer must send back the original part and a copy of the original invoice.  If we have provided a warranty form with the RMA number you receive for the return, the completed warranty form must also be send with the part.  Acceptance of the warranty claim is subject to manufacturers discretion.

Voluntary Returns: If you change your mind about your order after receiving it, you may return all or a portion of the order for a complete or partial refund of the purchase price, if the returned items are in new, unused condition with all original parts, boxes, manuals, packing materials, UPC code and any other documentation included in the original shipment. The original shipping and handling charges will not be refunded and a 10% restocking fee will apply. You may return these items using the shipping method of your choice and you are responsible for the return shipping charges. We recommend you insure the return shipment because we cannot be responsible for damaged or lost shipments. Used or otherwise altered items not in new condition are not eligible for refund. All returns must be received withing 45 days of the original order or a refund cannot be issued.  Upon receipt of your returned items, we will inspect them, return them to inventory if in new, unused condition, and issue your refund.

Refused or Unclaimed Shipments:  If a package is returned as unclaimed or refused we will contact the buyer to arrange reshipment or we will process the order as a Voluntary Return according to our policy for voluntary returns above.  In addition, any charges we receive from the carrier for the returned shipment will be deduced from the possible refund.
