Downgrade

Downgrade equipment will have defects but is a great way to save some money.    Boxes may have loose knots, excessive tear out, cracks etc,  other pieces may have scratches, a rough edge or other defects.   They are however usable (the bees won't care), and with a good paint job should have a normal usable life.    This is the grade of equipment we normally use ourselves in our own bees.
