Grafting tool used for transfering 1 day old larvae into queen cells. Plunger on one end moves the timin and out to push the larvae off of the tip. We have found from experience that the tip can be too wide on this style of grafting tool and tends to push the larvae instead of bending under the larvae in order to pick it up. The width of the tip can be carfully trimmed using a sharp utilty knife or small pair of scisors.
With this small alteration we've found beginners can be very successful using this tool. This however is an inexpensive and cheaply made tool so they do wear out and we recommend getting more than one.
